Around the world Lael Wilcox is an endurance athlete who in 2024 became the new holder of the world record for the circumnavigation of the globe by a woman on a bicycle. This image shows Wilcox on day 19 during the stage from Haigerloch (Germany) to Bettwiesen (Switzerland). 89 days later, she arrived back where it all began in Chicago as she completed her adventure. On her arrival, she stated that “I had so much fun – I felt as though I could have kept riding forever”.
